Day 1: Embarkation & First Encounters

Your journey begins in Iquitos, where you are warmly welcomed and transferred to Nauta, a gateway town on the edge of the jungle. Upon boarding the Delfin vessel, you settle into your suite—an elegant sanctuary designed with natural materials and a private terrace. As the boat glides through the Marañón River, you connect with your naturalist guide for an introduction to the landscapes and wildlife that await. The afternoon closes with a grounding mindfulness meditation and a gentle Qi Gong and yoga session, releasing travel tension and aligning you with the rhythms of the Amazon.

Day 2: Awakening Waters, Whispering Rivers

Rise early to choose between a quiet skiff excursion at dawn through the Yanallpa channels or a morning meditation and mindful movement session, awakening your body alongside the sounds of the forest. Mid-morning, dive into a mindful cooking class that invites you to engage all your senses and deepen your connection with nourishing food. The afternoon offers kayak exploration on the golden waters of the Río Dorado and the chance to try piranha fishing. As darkness falls, embark on a nocturnal safari, experiencing the magic of the Amazon’s nightlife under a canopy of stars, followed by a calming night meditation to center your awareness.

Day 3: Among Dolphins and the Roots of the Earth

Begin with a sunrise cacao ceremony, opening the heart and setting intentions for the day. Navigate the Pacaya River for a chance to swim near pink dolphins and enjoy a purifying mud treatment drawn from the earth.

Throughout the day, Qi Gong sessions support detox, energy flow, and inner balance. In the evening, a night meditation under the stars invites deep stillness and connection with the surrounding life. As the jungle settles into silence, this practice helps quiet the mind, expand awareness, and foster a sense of unity with the Amazon’s rhythms.

Day 4: Where It All Begins

This day centers on connection and reflection. The morning opens with a loving-kindness meditation, followed by a visit to a local community along the Yarapa River—an opportunity to share, listen, and honor ancestral ties to the land.

Back on board, a guided session of meditation and mindful movement (Qi Gong & yoga) invites you to tune inward, cultivating self-awareness, compassion, and emotional balance. These practices are designed to support your integration and deepen your connection to the present moment.

Later, sail to the Confluence, where the Ucayali and Marañón Rivers unite to form the mighty Amazon. In the afternoon, walk the trails of Fundo Casual with your naturalist guide, practicing mindful walking as you observe the textures, sounds, and colors of the rainforest.

As the day ends, participate in a creative expression session and a meaningful closing ceremony—a space to honor the journey, share reflections, and carry the Amazon’s wisdom forward.

Day 5: A Fond Farewell to the Amazon

Your final morning invites quiet reflection. As the rainforest slowly stirs, you’ll begin the journey back to Iquitos by private vehicle. Along the way, make two meaningful stops:

First, an interactive visit with Melipona stingless bees, whose quiet work sustains the Amazon’s delicate balance. Then, at the Amazon Research Center for Ornamental Fishes, discover the vibrant aquatic life of the region—from giant arapaima to colorful stingrays.

Each encounter is a gentle reminder of the richness and fragility of this ecosystem, and your place within it.

Upon arrival at the airport, the Delfin team will assist you with check-in and say farewell—with gratitude, and the hope that you carry the spirit of the Amazon with you.
